Location: The Golden Circle, Iceland

Info: Welcome to Iceland Commander, the land of Fire and Ice. Where snow lays heavy beside geothermal geysers that erupt randomly across the unforgiving terrain spraying the immediate area in scalding water, or superheated lava. It can be a hostile environment, where the occassional Polar Bear can turn up, and the Icelandic policy is strictly to shoot on sight. However of late things have gotten out of control.
It is here on this very cold land that the Soviets have established a base. This base was very quickly over-run, by a far greater threat, that of Yuri. For here the great enemy of the Allies and the Soviets, has a new stronghold, one that is full of warehouses, where its rumoured a new tank design has entered production. Here where the ground can spit fire, Yuri has been inspiried by the lands unique properties and created his own Flame-Tank, known as the 'Wrath Tank', these tanks can pour hot lava onto any structure, reducing armour to mush in moments.
Commander were sending you to this land of extremes to track down these tanks and destroy them.
Take control of the local airport, destroy Yuri's prototype Wrath  Tanks, and capture or destroy Yuri's command centre.
Should you get control of one of these 'Wrath' Tanks, ensure that is destroyed also!
Your Forces are on there way, Good Luck!

 Objective 1:Capture and hold the Airport to the South-West.

 Objective 2:Destroy all of Yuri's Experimental Wrath Tanks.

 Objective 3:Capture or Destroy Yuri's Command Centre.


Game Modes:
----------
Easy: Extra Reinforcements, added Bonus Crates, Reduced Ai Attacks.
Medium: Few More Yuri Defences, Units and Attacks.
Hard: No Help, More Patrols, More Defences Harder Ai.

Best Experience, Play Hard.




 


Hints and Tips: Once you control the airport, ensure its not retaken or destroyed. Loose all of your structures and the game will end!



Known Bugs: Ive seen the enemy Ai on occassion sell captured buildings leaving enemy Gi's behind.




Ok so there u have it,
A RA2md.CFS file has been added. This will overwrite any other RA2mdCSF.file which you may of installed in your 
RA2 Folder from previous downloaded missions.The file contains text which been altered in order to fit 
with the maps theme!

Explanation: The all01umd.map file when placed in your RA2 folder preceeds the standard Yuri's Revenge Soviet game disc missions.
This means that the first mission played when the game is launched will be this mission. To restore your games
original first mission simply remove the sov01umd.map file from your RA2 folder.
The RA2md.csf file contains the text for this mission, it also preceeds your game disc csf file. As above once you have
finished playing this mission remove the RA2mdcsf.file. This also causes your game to revert to reading from the mission 
disc as opposed to reading data from the RA2 folder.



Various slight modifications have been added, all to keep in with this missions theme. The modifications will not alter your 
original RA2 game. 


Firstly a big thankyou to McPwny (as above), who has now taught me all about using Ai attacks. This has been a huge eye-opener and will add to your enjoyment of these maps. He's given advice on warheads, ect. Especially inspiring me to give a neat glow to the Wrath Tank weapon.
I looked up Bugsey827 Burner Rules and moddified them to add a neat flame trap.
Thanks to McPwny for finding me a script 'Hack', this ensures certain units always hit the correct buildings when there are multiple on the map.
I also pinched his unique idea of making steam rise from water by using particle animations again.

Finally a big thankyou to the following people who have given so much
help in this field with their ideas and solutions......many have now moved on, but they're not forgotten. I do need to scale this down at some point.
